The location of the hotel on the big street Rivadavia is excellent, with easy access to the Subte station Plaza Miserere and the vibrant neighborhood of Montevideo. the hotel's 1971 decor creates a unique and nostalgic atmosphere. the rooms are comfortable, with clean linens and a reliable TV. the friendly staff offers helpful service, and the breakfast provided is adequate. there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, making it convenient for dining options.
The bathroom in the hotel is small, which may not suit everyone's preference.

bed was very comfortable, in spite of being old the hotel is well maintained, relation price quality is correct, breakfast was very good and varied, ideal not to be hungry and to go all morning. staff is always attentive and willing to help and give directions and tips. It is in a very central neighborhood, commercial but quiet. There are many restaurants nearby where you can eat and subway is a block away (as well as buses on the corner). room was small but had everything you were looking for: separate bathroom, air conditioning and double bed.
The wifi signal in the room was pretty bad, I had to go to the lobby to get good reception, I found it novel but a little uncomfortable, I should say in the ad that the shower is built into the bathroom without a receptacle.

I like just the price!
The hotel doesn't have no smoke rooms. The staffs don't speak in English. The Bed is really small and uncomfortable, the bathroom doesn't have Box, When you take shower all bathroom became totally wet. The breakfast is poor but the prices is good and you can access internet a good price too.

My stay at Gran Hotel Atlantic was fantastic. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and allowed me to store my luggage after check-out. The room was clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet. The location was perfect, with easy access to the metro and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for its great value and friendly atmosphere.

staff of hotel very kind, very helpful. Breakfast was ok, location was fine : close to place Miserere and of the Subte which allows to go to the main touristic places.
Very noisy : walls are thin, window not on the street yet there were all the air conditionning machines working during the night outside, very noisy. Some rooms don't have access to wifi, whatever they say : the signal is to weak and you have to get down to the lobby to connect.

Breakfast is included. The staff was nice. Location is close to Plaza Miserere.
The Internet signal was too weak to work with my laptop in my hotel room. The rooms are fairly spartan. Beyond soap and shampoo, don't expect much.

Location is ideal in terms of convenience to Metro & buses.
A little disappointed that the check out time was 1000h and non negiotable. We had a mid night flight; any extension incur at least 1/2 payment.
